InfoPrint Webcasts

The InfoPrint Webcasts introduce several key products designed for the transformation of business communications.  These include InfoPrint Designer, Infoprint Server, and MAPPING Suite.  Conducted by InfoPrint specialists, these are 1-hour sessions for each product that combine product concepts with demonstration. InfoPrint Webcasts are conducted on Tuesdays at 9 a.m. Mountain Time or 15:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). See below for schedule of Webcasts. This webcast will identify the challenges faced by organizations in producing and delivering communications. This session serves as a prologue to the other webcasts in the InfoPrint series. Topics addressed include:

The InfoPrint Designer webcast provides an introduction to this System i-based document design product. Topics addressed include:

• InfoPrint Designer concept
• Overlay, Image, and Layout editors
• Architecture and flow of InfoPrint Designer
• Implementation resources
• InfoPrint Designer demonstration

The Infoprint Server webcast provides an introduction to Infoprint Server, the System i-based PDF and electronic document delivery system. Topics include:

• Business communications, e-delivery
• Typical Infoprint Server applications
• iSeries output architecture primer
• Intelligent Routing
• PDF enhancements, iSeries architecture extensions
• Implementation resources, including implementation redbook
• Infoprint Server Demonstration

There will be approximately 10-15 minutes at the end of each session for questions.

This is an introduction to MAPPING Suite, the multi-platform software for document composition, print stream production, electronic delivery, and print management. Topics in this webcast include:

• Overview
• Mapping workflow
• Components and functions
• Best practices case studies

The InfoPrint webcasts use the InfoPrint Solutions Company Web conferencing facility. To join in:

1. Secure an InfoPrint Solutions Company ID
   If you do not already have an InfoPrint Solutions Company ID and password, then go to:
   My InfoPrint Solutions Company registration
   
   The ID should be active within 10 minutes of submission.
   
   
2. Test connection
   If you haven't used the InfoPrint Solutions Company Web conferencing facility before, use the "test meeting" function to verify that you can access the conference function:
   ibm.com/collaboration/collaboratenow
   
   and select "test meeting". You should do this test at least a day before the scheduled Webcast date to ensure that you are ready to go.

3. Dial the audio line

4. Join the Webcast
   About 15 minutes before the Webcast start, select the appropriate link above (under dates) for the Webcast you want to attend.
   
   When prompted, enter your InfoPrint Solutions Company ID and password.
