GraphExpo Demonstrations Help InfoPrint Earn MUST SEE 'EM Award

Applications Bring to Life Value-Add of TransPromo Solution

You may have heard the exciting news that InfoPrint earned three esteemed MUST SEE 'EM Awards at GraphExpo 2008 -- one for our Suite of TransPromo solutions, another for Productivity Tracker and a third for the InfoPrint 5000. We would like to share with you the wide range of TransPromo solutions demonstrated at the show – from the distributed space to the production space – to better explain why we earned this prestigious award.

GraphExpo 2008 was the first time InfoPrint took an integrated approach to demonstrating solutions at a trade show with three separate TransPromo applications running under the same theme – the new TransPromo pilot InfoPrint ran with Best Western International, the world's largest hotel chain. As part of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council’s Precision Promotion campaign, the pilot gauged the ROI of TransPromo. It was run at the InfoPrint Innovation Center in Boulder, Colorado, and output was sent to selected Best Western hotel guests on their rewards statements.

Prior to the show, the InfoPrint team working closely with MAPPING developed an application demo to drive on demand two personalized full color pieces. When visitors walked into the InfoPrint booth, InfoPrint representatives scanned the 2-D barcode on their conference badge in order to capture their name, address and email, along with initiating an automated process by which MAPPING would use this information to generate the two personalized deliverables. One was a full-color two-sided postcard mailer printed on the Pro C900, and the other was a full-color two sided hotel check-in folio complete with advertisements and coupons, printed on the InfoPrint Color 1769.

These real-world applications brought to life how our TransPromo solutions can be fully automated and leveraged by our clients to personalize messages and, in turn, communicate more effectively with their customers. For example, when implementing the TransPromo folio solution in the real world, the advertisements and coupons on the check-in folio would be personalized based on each visitor's hotel membership profile including food and restaurant preferences, recreational activities and more. In this way the hotel is boosting profits and driving customer loyalty while delivering to their customers something which has relevant personal value.

In addition, we were able to use MAPPING to generate a personalized URL that was then printed on each visitor's postcard and folio. At the end of each day these personalized URLs were then handed off to a separate utility in order for the personalized web pages to be made live. What's more, MAPPING automatically generated an email to go to each visitor containing a personalized letter along with collateral attached via PDF, thereby furthering the multi-channel approach to reaching customers.

From a competitive perspective, InfoPrint was the only vendor at GraphExpo to demonstrate TransPromo using this integrated, hands-on approach, and that is ultimately why we earned the MUST SEE 'EM Award for our Suite of TransPromo solutions. Customers are looking for new ways to grow business, cut costs and improve efficiencies.
