OVERVIEW
Find Machine Type and Serial Numbers
In order to place a service call or receive technical support, you will need to provide the machine type and serial number for your printer. Every InfoPrint Solutions Company printer is stamped with identification—typically a label containing:
- 4-character Machine Type
- 3-character Model
- 7-character Serial Number
The easiest way to find your machine type and serial number is to print out a configuration sheet. However, if you are unable to print a configuration sheet, please follow the instructions for locating your printer's identification label.

Find your printer below, then refer to the instructions to find the label indicating its serial number, machine type (four digits), and model number (three digits).

| InfoPrint 1145 | Open the front cover half way. Look down into the gap where the front cover is attached to the printer to find the label. |
| InfoPrint 1222 | Open front door. Open top cover. The label os located to the left of the toner cartridge. |
| InfoPrint 1226 | The label is on the back of the printer near the power cord. |
| InfoPrint 1312 | The serial number is located on the back of the printer on the data plate. |
| InfoPrint 1332, 1352, 1372, 1422, 1512, 1220, 1354, 1354L, 1357 | The label is on the back of the printer near the power cord. The serial number is also listed on the menu settings page you can print from the Utilities Menu. |
| InfoPrint 1410 MFP | The label is on the inside cover of the upper front door of the MFP. The serial number is also listed on the menu settings page. |
| InfoPrint 1412, 1601, 1602, 1612, 1622 | The label is on the back of the front door. Once the door is open it is visible if you look straight down. |
| InfoPrint 1532 Express, 1552, 1572, 1572 MFP | Open the lower front cover. Open the upper front cover. The label is on the frame on the left side. |
| InfoPrint 1540 MFP, 1560 MFP, 1580 MFP, 1585, 1948 MFP, 1968 MFP, 1985, 1988 MFP | On the left side of the printer open the “A” door and the label is located near the left (back) edge. |
| InfoPrint 1570 MFP | Label is located under the top front cover. |
| InfoPrint 1650 MFP, 1832, 1850 MFP, 1852, 1860 MFP, 1870MFP, 1872, 1892 | Open front door and lift top cover. The label is to the left of the toner cartridge. |
| InfoPrint 1811, 1812, 1930 MFP, 1940 MFP | The label is located on inside of front door. Open front door and look straight down. |
| InfoPrint 1822, 1823 | The label is located on inside of front door on an angled piece. Open the door and look down and towards the top of the door. |
| InfoPrint 1880 MFP | Open front door. The label is to the left of the toner cartridge. |
| InfoPrint Color 8 | The label is on the printer frame next to the toner cartridge. It is also listed in the Printer Details section of the printer configuration page. If you are asked for a machine type, specify InfoPrint Color 8. |
| InfoPrint Color 1228 | The label is on the inside of the front cover. The serial number is also listed on the menu settings page you can print from the Utilities Menu. |
| InfoPrint Color 1334 | The label is on the right side or the inside of the front door. The serial number is also listed on the menu settings page you can print from the Utilities Menu. |
| InfoPrint Color 1454, Color 1464, Color 1654, Color 1664, Color 1754, Color 1764 | Locate the toner waste container, which is on the left side of the printer behind a small door near the back of the printer.The label is just above the toner waste container. |
| InfoPrint Color 1534, Color 1634 | The label is located on the metal frame just in front and to the right of where the toner is located. To access this area you will have to lift up the top cover and pull forward the front cover. |
| InfoPrint Color 1567 | Open front cover. The label is on the frame on the left side. |
| InfoPrint Color 1759 MFP | Open the front door. The label will be on the frame near the bottom left corner. |
| InfoPrint Color 1824, Color 1825, Color 1826 MFP | The label is located behind the standard (top) paper tray attached to the frame on the left side. |

| M26 MFP Option | The label is on the back of the scanner on right side by the power switch. |
| M30 MFP Option | The label is on the back of the scanner near the right side. |
