IMPLEMENTATION OPTIONS
Intelligent Mail Barcode Implementation Services
Transition from POSTNET™ to Intelligent Mail by May 2011 using InfoPrint Intelligent Mail barcode implementation services that enable you to comply with USPS Basic or Full Service.
1. Basic Service with AFP Visual EnvironmentFor environments without an InfoPrint Automated Document Factory, Basic Service can be achieved with the InfoPrint Advanced Function Presentation™ (AFP™) Visual Environment software utility. This easy-to-use utility performs AFP file indexing, and it can replace existing POSTNET barcodes or generate an Intelligent Mail barcode based on existing Tagged Logical Elements (TLEs). AFP Visual Environment can also create, modify or delete machine and human-readable production marks, allowing your operation to accommodate changing requirements.
2. Basic or Full Service with an InfoPrint Automated Document Factory solutionInfoPrint Postal Optimization Automated Document Factory (ADF) solutions for Intelligent Mail are designed to be right-sized for your business needs today — and easily expandable for your needs in the future. In addition to Basic or Full Service Intelligent Mail compliance, you can receive the benefits of an ADF and automated workflow, including reduced costs, strong reporting capabilities, and a single point of control over your entire production system.
3. Advanced capabilities with InfoPrint Postal Services ManagerInfoPrint Postal Services Manager, an optional component of InfoPrint’s Postal Optimization ADF Solution, interfaces with Destination Confirm, Origin Confirm and Address Change Services. InfoPrint Postal Services Manager captures information received from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) about sent mail, reply mail, change of address (COA) and undeliverable as addressed (UAA) mail.
With this critical intelligence, you can plan marketing and cash flow activities related to mail piece status. For example, collection calls can be cancelled if a remit envelope is detected in the mail stream, or a multi-touch marketing campaign can be coordinated with the approximate delivery time of a direct mail piece.
