WebCRD from Rochester Software Associates (RSA) is a powerful, Web-based tool that automates job submission to the print center, for precise, thorough and comprehensive print instructions. Users are guided through the submission process with highly intuitive, pre-populated instruction fields. Jobs are automatically submitted directly to the print center along with complete job tickets. Operators can print, finish and deliver jobs without having to track down any information.

Users can upload files for printing and order catalog items using any of three workflows (Portal Page, Form Order or Shared Archives). Optional Approval Authority allows designated approvers to review orders before they arrive at the print center. Submitted jobs are printed using a File-Print workflow in the print center (the file is opened in its native application and printed directly to a printer). | System Requirements | WebCRD is a browser-based application that operates on a secure, scalable and reliable Sun/UNIX platform powered by an Apache Web server. The basic configuration has 2 GB memory and (2) 250 GB RAID disk array hard drives. This is an enterprise-class server that is highly scalable and highly secure. Because of the customizations and preconfiguration performed by RSA, the server is provided by RSA as part of a turnkey solution of hardware and software. |
