FEATURES AND BENEFITS
InfoPrint 1812
Small footprint. Huge benefits.
| Feature | Benefits |
|---|---|
| Standard duplex function | Reduce paper, storage and mailing costs with the standard, easy-to-use duplex unit. |
| Intuitive, easy-to-use operator interface | Save time and simplify operation with a two-line, 16-character LCD, six buttons and more than 50 easy-to-understand messages. Change most printer settings from your software application, printer driver or the printer’s operator interface. Use the Paper Menu to select media and the Finishing Menu to define how the printer delivers output—collated, with borders, or multiple images on one page, for example. |
| Keep it simple | The InfoPrint 1812 is shipped with a setup sheet to facilitate easy installation. Designed for easy replacement, the toner and photoconductor cartridges and maintenance kit are the only supply items. The two-piece imaging system can help keep your supplies cost low—you pay only for the piece you need when you need it. |
| Environmentally efficient | The InfoPrint 1812 is made with paint-free covers that can be recycled. With higher ship with and aftermarket toner levels plus a cartridge return program, fewer cartridges are used and less packaging goes to landfills. The new “Eco-mode” option is designed to reduce power consumption and the “Quiet-mode” option can be set to reduce noise pollution. The rapid warm-up fuser saves energy and reduces cost. |
| Broad range of paper sizes and types¹ | Most commonly used media can be loaded in the standard automatic 250-sheet paper feeder. The second paper source, the 50-sheet multi-purpose feeder conveniently located at the front of the printer, can be used for special paper, transparencies, envelopes, paper labels, card stock or index stock.¹ You can add one optional 250-sheet drawer or one optional 550-sheet drawer to increase paper options, reduce intervention and improve user productivity with an input capacity up to 850 sheets. The 250- and 550-sheet drawers can be adjusted to accommodate a wide range of paper sizes. |
| Advanced printing options | Expand the range of output you can produce quickly and cost effectively. Use the optional flash memory to print watermarks or overlays, such as company logos or letterheads, decorative borders and simulated pre-printed forms. |
| Add printing capabilities | Use flash memory to enable third-party solutions and custom fonts. Increase team productivity by printing multiple page images on one page to save time, save paper and save storage space. Use the “Booklet” setting to print multiple pages in booklet form without having to re-format your document. Create posters without a wide-format, specialty printer by printing a single image across several pages, which can be combined to create one large image. |
| Manage the printer | The network model InfoPrint 1812 has a resident Web page, which you can access from your browser. The resident Web page features a real-time status window, and it can report printer and supplies status, printer settings, e-mail status alerts and printing statistics. This management tool also provides a “mirror” of the messages that await you at the printer on the operator panel. |
