InfoPrint also announced three new laser printers - the InfoPrint 1823, InfoPrint Color 1825 and InfoPrint Color 1836 MFP; compact, high performance printers that also bring greater value to higher-usage customers through economical supplies.

The InfoPrint Color 1825 and InfoPrint Color 1836 MFP are designed for small to midsize workgroups or busy offices that need access to an affordable device that delivers productivity-enhancing features and professional-quality color printing. Both feature 25 ppm printing in both color and monochrome and 256MB RAM space. An optional 550-sheet drawer is available to load up to 1,450 sheets, along with paper-saving duplex printing as standard and economical extra high yield cartridges. These two machines come standard with 4,000¹-page toner cartridges shipping with more toner than their leading competitor. The 8,000-page extra high-yield black toner cartridge means fewer interventions for the customer and helps reduce the cost of ownership by delivering a low cost-per-page.

The InfoPrint 1823 is ultra-compact yet provides large standard input capacity and toner capacity. It boasts two 250-sheet paper drawers plus a 50-sheet multipurpose feeder. The solution also boasts an 18,000¹ page after-market toner cartridge. This brings additional choice to InfoPrint customers looking for a high performance monochrome printer, yet with a smaller footprint and lower price point.

"This latest launch is part of our ongoing move to bring the latest innovations, such as touch screen interfaces, to our customers of all sizes,” said Paul Preo, Vice President, Distributed Solutions, InfoPrint Solutions Company. "Whether looking for a larger monochrome offering or a more compact color workhorse, InfoPrint’s workgroup machines lead the market as flexible, efficient high quality choices for modern businesses looking to remain flexible and keep an eye on costs.”

All InfoPrint’s workgroup printers have been designed and manufactured with the environment top of mind. All models will use substantially less energy than previous generations, and have a unique “Eco-Mode” setting to further reduce energy consumption. Duplex printing capability, high yield cartridges and reduced packaging are additional features to help decrease waste and cost. Improvements in scanning technology and the internal airflow handling reduce noise pollution, with a “quiet mode” feature also available to further reduce acoustical noise.
