Infoprint Solutions Appoints Benoît Chatelard as General Manager, Asia Pacific Region

InfoPrint announced today that Benoît Chatelard has been appointed General Manager, Asia Pacific

InfoPrint Solutions Company, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, today announced that Benoît Chatelard has been appointed General Manager, Asia Pacific. Chatelard has worked with InfoPrint Solutions and, formerly, IBM Printing Systems for five years in sales positions in Europe, Middle East and Africa culminating in the position of vice president of sales for EMEA.

Chatelard will be based in the Asia Pacific regional headquarters in Singapore and will report directly to Tony Romero, CEO, InfoPrint Solutions.

"Benoît has been the driving force behind our outstanding success in the EMEA market," said Romero. "He will now bring his energy, enthusiasm and experience to bear in a geography where we see tremendous growth opportunities. Emerging markets such as India and China in particular are starting to see the potential value of digital production printing."

Chatelard joined IBM France in 1986, as sales representative in charge of the Peugeot-Citroën account. He worked with the IBM Process Industry and managed IBM's Business Partners network in France, South Africa and Central Europe, Middle-East and Africa (CEMA) before joining IBM Printing Systems Division. A graduate engineer in electronics, Chatelard also has an MBA from the 'École de Management de Lyon', France.
