WEEE Compliance in Europe

Under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and implementing regulations, when customers buy new electrical and electronic equipment from our company they are entitled to:

• Send old equipment for recycling on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis (this varies depending on the country)
• Send the new equipment back for recycling when this ultimately becomes waste

Instructions for customers wishing to obtain product takeback information and recyclers/treatment facilities wishing to obtain disassembly information.

Ricoh Production Print Solutions or IBM
If you want to return a Ricoh Production Print Solutions or IBM printer, please send an email in English to printenv@ricoh-usa.com and provide the following details for which you would like to receive takeback information:

• Model number of product
• Your company name
• Contact name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address

We will respond to you shortly notifying you if the product is eligible for takeback and providing you with instructions on how to proceed (i.e what the process is and if there are any costs to your company).

InfoPrint
If you want to return an InfoPrint printer and you are located in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, please send an email in English to emo@ricoh-europe.com and provide the following details for which you would like to receive takeback information:

• Model number of product
• Your company name
• Contact name
• Address
• Telephone number
• Email address

If you want to return an InfoPrint printer and you are located in Bulgaria, Cyprus, The Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, or Slovenia please send an email in English to printenv@ricoh-usa.com and provide the following details for which you would like to receive takeback information:

• Model number of product

As part of compliance with the WEEE Directive, we provide recycling information on request for all types of new equipment put on the market in Europe after August 13th 2005.

For electrical and electronic equipment put on the market after August 2005.
